Addressing NIMBY Attitudes towards Housing Affordability

While many politicians espouse the need for affordable housing, home builders understand all too well that local and state officials can quickly acquiesce to vocal opposition to affordable and even workforce housing from their constituents. This is a major concern and a major barrier to the construction of housing accessible to low and mid-income families.
